text of our publication, "The Spiritual Power of My Cenacles." It is our hope that Our Lady's words will impress upon
all of you the urgency of gathering in cenacle with Mary.
The Blessed Mother is
calling all of us to prayer in cenacle with her, where we will receive the
precious gift of the Holy Spirit. They are truly a powerful weapon in Our Lady's
hands as we enter more deeply into the time of great trials, of confusion and of
apostasy.

"I have caused to spring up here, for twenty-five years now,
my Marian Movement of Priests, so that the message of Fatima, often contested
and rejected by many, might in your days come to its complete fulfillment.

"Its fulfillment is necessary for you, my children, … so that you may attain
salvation.
"Its fulfillment is necessary for the Church, … so that from its painful and
bloody trial it might emerge all beautiful, without spot or wrinkle, in
imitation of its heavenly Mother.
"Its fulfillment is necessary for all humanity, … so that it may return to the
arms of its Father and come to know the new times of its full communion of love

The Marian Movement of Priests and its Three
Commitments
Our Blessed Mother makes use of various means to achieve the fulfillment of
her Fatima message, but there is one means in particular which is most
special to her heart. It is her very own Marian Movement of Priests. There
are three commitments which characterize the spirituality of her Movement:

Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary |
| 2. |
Unity with the Pope and with the Church united to him |
| 3. |
Leading others to entrustment to Our Lady and to the formation of cenacles
of prayer. |
In Message #594 given at Fatima on May 8, 1997, on the occasion of the 25th
anniversary of the Marian Movement of Priests, she speaks to us of these
three commitments as three very important means for the fulfillment of the
message of Fatima:
The first commitment - the Consecration to her Immaculate Heart:
"Now my plan is about to be completed. With my Marian Movement of
Priests, I have called all my children to consecrate themselves to my
Immaculate Heart.
"It is the message of Fatima which is reaching its fulfillment and is being
realized everywhere, through the merciful action of your heavenly Mother.
Through it I have asked for the consecration to my Immaculate Heart, as a
sure means of obtaining conversion of heart and of life, and of leading
humanity back along the road of its return to the Lord.
"By means of my Marian Movement of Priests, this consecration, willed and
requested by me, has now been made in every part of the earth. Thus I have
been able to form for myself the cohort of my little children, with which I
will bring to completion my greatest victory.(594cde)
The second commitment - unity with the Pope and the Church united to him:
"It is the message of Fatima which is being fulfilled in your pledge of
love, of prayer and of unity with the Pope and with the Church united to
him...
"With your pledge of love and prayer, you are his comfort and his
consolation at the moment of his greatest sacrifice. With your docility and
obedience, you become his most effective means of assistance, in order that
his Magisterium be everywhere received, heeded and followed. With your unity
with him, you are confirmed in remaining in the true faith, in the present
times foretold here by me, when the faith is being lost by many of my
children, because of the errors which are being taught and spread about more
and more."

The third commitment - to reach out to her other children, to bring them to
consecrate themselves to her and to form cenacles of prayer with her.
"It is the message of Fatima which is being fulfilled in the spread, now
on a world-wide level, of the cenacles which I have asked of you, in order
to gather you together in prayer, made with me and through me…
"With these cenacles, you are able to obtain the grace of conversion for
many poor sinners, especially for those most in need of divine mercy.
"With these cenacles, you offer a great force of intercession and of
reparation to your heavenly Mother, who has intervened many times, in an
extraordinary way, to shorten the painful time of the great purifying trial.
"With these cenacles, you invoke the gift of the second Pentecost, which is
now close at hand, because my Immaculate Heart has become the new spiritual
cenacle, where this divine prodigy for the Church and all humanity will be
accomplished."

And in Message #473 given on the anniversary of the First Apparition at
Fatima, May 13th, 1992, she again tells us that she is calling all her
children to consecrate themselves to her Heart and to form cenacles of
prayer:
"You are the sign of my presence in the times of the painful trial which is
preparing the triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the world. Indeed, through
the Marian Movement of Priests, I am calling all my children to consecrate
themselves to my Heart, and to spread everywhere cenacles of prayer: among
priests, the faithful, children, youth, and in families.
"In this way I am able to obtain a great force of intercession and
reparation, and I am able to intervene in order to change the hearts of my
poor sinful children; in this way I am bringing about each day the triumph
of my Immaculate Heart."

THE CENACLES: Their Spiritual Benefits and Power
Throughout her messages to Fr. Gobbi, Our Lady repeatedly asks for the
formation of cenacles: "Multiply your cenacles of prayer." Why are they so
important to her? Why are they so dear to her Heart? The answer is simple.
It is because of their many spiritual benefits, and also because they are
the golden key that unlocks her tremendous power of intercession.

cenacle is a powerful tool in Our Lady's hands to lead many to salvation. |

In
the cenacle, we allow her to prepare us spiritually for Our Lord's second
coming. |
| 3. |
The
cenacles bring us security, peace, consolation and hope. |

They are our protection against confusion and apostasy. |
| 5. |
They are a protection from the evils which are threatening the families of
today. |
| 6. |
The
cenacles act as "lightning rods" which will protect us from the
chastisement. |

The
cenacles will be our safe havens in the hour of the great trial. |
| 8. |
In
the cenacles, we will come to understand "the whole and entire truth." |
| 9. |
The
cenacles prepare us to become "apostles of these last times." |
| 10. |
Children's cenacles, in particular, give great spiritual power to Our Lady. |
| 11. |
The
cenacles are the spiritual force which, in the end, will release in Our Lady
the power given her by Jesus to crush the head of Satan! |

In
the cenacles, the Holy Spirit will come down to lead us to the second
Pentecost. |

The cenacle is a powerful tool in Our Lady's hands
to lead many to salvation. |

The offering of our prayer in the cenacle gives Our Lady the means to bring more
and more souls to Jesus. She says that, through us, she will be able to call
everyone to enter as quickly as possible into the Ark of the New Covenant and of
salvation, which her Immaculate Heart has prepared for us in view of these times
of chastisement. (cf. 328i) God wants to extend the period of mercy so that all
of his children will come back into his arms. With our help she will work great
prodigies to bring as many souls as possible to salvation. She says:
"Multiply your cenacles of prayer.
"Multiply your rosaries, recited well and in union with me. Offer me also your
suffering and your penance.
"I ask for your prayer and penance for the conversion of sinners, that even my
most rebellious and most distant children may return to God, who awaits them
with the merciful eagerness of a Father.
"Thus my motherly and supreme intervention can be extended everywhere, for the
salvation of all who have gone astray." (192p-t)
"With your prayer made together with me, your heavenly Mother, you can obtain
the gift of bringing about a change of hearts and conversion."

"My soul is pierced by many souls who are being lost and going each day into
hell. Help me to save them. Help me with prayer, with suffering, with your love,
with your faithfulness. For this reason I am asking you to multiply your
cenacles of prayer, in the conclusive time of the great tribulation. In this
way, you help me to save many of my poor children, who are walking toward their
eternal perdition." (527j)
"With these cenacles, you are able to obtain the grace of conversion for many
poor sinners, especially for those most in need of divine mercy."

Our Lady calls us to share in her co-redemptive mission of assisting her in
bringing to salvation all of our brothers and sisters! This is divine love!
"There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." (Jn
15:13) This is the kind of love Jesus requires from his apostles and disciples.
Therefore, do not abandon your cenacles; rather, multiply them by the hundreds
and by the thousands - in your churches, in your homes, in schools, everywhere!
With our cenacles, we will form "a great net of salvation"

In the cenacle, we allow her to prepare us spiritually for our Lord's
second coming. |

The time is fast approaching when each of us will have to give an account of our
lives. Will we find ourselves ready when Jesus comes? Will we be spiritually
prepared? Now is the time to arise from our slumber and be watchful and ready.
The illumination of consciences (judgment in miniature) will not be easy for any
of us - every minute detail of our souls and consciences will be scrutinized by
God's light, and nothing will go unnoticed.
"He will come suddenly, and the world will not be ready for his coming. He will
come for a judgment for which man will find himself unprepared. He will come to
establish his kingdom in the world, after having defeated and annihilated his
enemies." (166h)
Our Blessed Mother, knowing the great pain that this will cause us, her
children, has come to prepare us. By exhorting us to live our consecration -
following the commandments; receiving the sacraments, especially that of
confession; living chaste and moral lives; being charitable to our neighbor,
etc. - she is trying to cleanse each of us and to make us realize what it is
that we need to rectify in our lives.
And in the cenacle, she prepares us by leading us along the way of conversion
and of return to the Lord. "I desire to give you the grace of a change of heart and of life. I help you to
free yourselves from sin, to fight against the passions, to conquer evil; and I
lead you to full reconciliation with the Lord your God. It is necessary that
this general reconciliation come about quickly, to prepare you thus for the
great trial which awaits you, for the complete purification of all humanity."

"When the Son of Man returns..."
If indeed his return is close at hand, then my motherly action becomes more
concerned and vigorous, in order to assist all my children to remain ever in the
truth of the faith. This is why I have asked you to consecrate yourselves to my
Immaculate Heart. This is why, in these times of yours, I have spread everywhere
my Marian Movement of Priests: to form the little flock, reunited in the prayer
of the cenacles and watchful in expectation - the flock gathered together and
formed by me to ever preserve the true faith.
"Thus, when the Son of Man returns, He will still find the faith on earth in all
those who will have consecrated themselves to me, allowing themselves to be
gathered together in the heavenly garden of my Immaculate Heart."

3. |
The cenacles
bring us security, peace, consolation and hope. |

Many of us today - because of situations in our lives, in the Church and in the
world - feel sad, lonely, discouraged, neglected and longing for love. Our Lady
is true Mother and, in the cenacle, she provides all of the comforts we need to
shoulder our burdens and to live through the painful hours of the purification.
She tells us that in the cenacle, we "enter into her repose."

"Mine is the task of washing you from every stain, of consoling you in every
sorrow, of bringing trust to you in your great discouragement, and strong hope
to you in your loneliness. I assist you to be in the world without being of the
world, because I desire that all of you belong solely and always to my Son
Jesus." (560n)
"Yes, I want you to be all gathered together in my Immaculate Heart because
today, more than ever, you have need of being consoled and encouraged. The
greatest joy of the Mother is that of comforting the children of her maternal
predilection." (121h)
"Now, as the battle grows more violent, I must provide moments of spiritual
peace and repose for all. In these cenacles you will enter into my repose
because, by praying and making reparation with your heavenly Mother, you will be
consoled and strengthened by me.
"Thus, I will receive great reparation from you, and you will receive new
strength and light from your Mother, to walk along the difficult road of these
times of yours." (180ij)
She wishes to give us the precious gift of peace of heart! When we gather with
her in cenacles of prayer, they become for us light in the darkness, strength
for our weakness, repose for our fatigue, hope in our discouragement, security
in our moments of fear:
"In the cenacles, you will be aware of my extraordinary presence.
In the cenacles, you will experience the security and peace which your heavenly
Mother gives you." (509hi)
"To this end, gather souls together ever more and more in cenacles of intense
prayer, of deep prayer, so that I may be able to give them peace of heart. At a
time when peace is departing ever further and further from men, from families,
from nations, and from humanity, the sign of my motherly triumph is peace, which
even now I want to bring into the hearts of all my children: of those who listen
to me, follow me, and consecrate themselves to my Immaculate Heart. For this, I
am again asking you to continue in your cenacles of prayer because, through the
grace which springs from my Heart and which brings you to a fullness of love for
my Son Jesus, I wish to give my children, today, the precious gift of peace of
heart. (311f)
"Spread these cenacles everywhere like rays of light which come down to lighten
up the earth, in these days of great darkness." (434f) |

They are our protection against confusion and apostasy |
| |
Another important role of the cenacles is to prepare us for the days of
confusion when it will be difficult to discern lies from the truth. Because of
the confusion both in the Church and in the world, Satan knows he can tempt us
by appealing to our vain curiosity. That is why we are tempted to believe every
rumor of reported apparitions, mystical experiences, and miraculous occurrences,
all the while forgetting that which is most important - our faith and our
spiritual readiness. We have an itch for novelty and need to hang on to anything
that seems "religiously reassuring." Satan is having a field day in seeing how
many go in search of the many false mystics whom he uses to bring people away
from the truth and from God. Our Lady says,
"There are also speaking today false prophets, who announce the Gospel by
betraying it, and these are listened to and followed! And they bring disorder
and confusion among the most faithful children of my Church."

Our Lady will not allow her chosen ones who have remained faithful to her to be
seduced by the charms of him who will set himself against Christ - yet another
important reason not to abandon our cenacles! We will be guarded in the depths
of her Immaculate Heart and she will give us the vision to see which path to
follow.
"The times of the general confusion and of the greatest agitation of spirits
has come. Confusion has entered into the souls and the lives of many of my
children. This great apostasy is spreading more and more, even through the interior of
the Catholic Church. Errors are being taught and spread about, while the
fundamental truths of the faith, which the authentic Magisterium of the Church
has always taught and energetically defended against any heretical deviation
whatsoever, are being denied with impunity.
The episcopates are maintaining a strange silence and are no longer reacting.
When my Pope speaks with courage and reaffirms with force the truths of the
Catholic faith, he is no longer listened to and is even publicly criticized and
derided. There is a subtle and diabolical tactic, woven in secrecy by Masonry,
which is used today against the Holy Father in order to bring ridicule upon his
person and his work and to neutralize his Magisterium. Victims of the great apostasy are those children of mine who, often
unknowingly, allow themselves to be carried along by this wave of errors and of
evil.
Victims of the great apostasy are many bishops, priests, religious and
faithful.
In these times, in the Catholic Church, there will remain a little remnant who
will be faithful to Christ, to the Gospel, and to its entire truth. The little
remnant will form a little flock, all guarded in the depths of my Immaculate
Heart. This little flock will be made up of those bishops, priests, religious
and faithful who will remain strongly united to the Pope, all gathered together
in the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart, in an act of unceasing prayer, of
continual immolation, of total offering to prepare the painful way for the
second and glorious coming of my Son Jesus.
On this feast of mine in this Marian Year, I address to all those who wish to
become part of the little flock the motherly invitation to consecrate themselves
to my Heart, to live in intimacy of life with me, to become my courageous
apostles in these last times, because the moment when my Immaculate Heart must
be glorified before all the Church and before all humanity has come."

5. |
They are a protection from the evils which are threatening the families
of today. |

Our Lady, "the Mother of Life and the Queen of the Family" (cf. 560l), stresses
the great need for families to gather together in cenacles of prayer to save
them from the evils which are threatening the life of the Christian families.
"The cenacles which I have asked of families are a precious gift to them, so
that in them they may experience the joy of my presence, the comfort of my
assistance, and the help offered against the grave evils which threaten their
very existence." (496h)
"Above all, spread all about you family cenacles, which are desired by me as a
remedy for the great evils which are today threatening the life of Christian
families, through the legitimizing of abortion, of divorce, and of all the
methods which prevent life." (392f)
"These are the powerful means which my Immaculate Heart gives you to defend the
Christian family from the dangers which threaten it, such as infidelity,
divisions, separations, recourse to the means of preventing life and those cursed
abortions which are being permitted by civil laws but which cry for vengeance in
the sight of God." (555h)
"…This response has been made to me by the families who consecrate themselves to
my Heart and who gather together in family cenacles, desired by me and which I
have asked of you several times. Thus families consecrated to me resist the
grave malady of division and of divorce and are preserved from the contagion of
the terrible cancer of abortion and of recourse to all the means of impeding
life." (418d)
"Multiply, in every part of the world, the cenacles of prayer which I have asked
of you, like torches lit in the night, like sure points of reference, like
shelters needed and sought for. Above all, I ask that family cenacles be
multiplied more and more, in order to provide you with a safe dwelling place in
the great trial which is now awaiting you." (417k) |

The cenacles act as
lightning rods which will protect us from the chastisement. (cf. 495j) |

They are the instrument by which Our Lady can set aside, delay and mitigate the
chastisement. As of now, the cenacles have given her the power to compel the
mercy of God to intervene to shorten the period of trials.
On August 15, 1988, the solemn closing of the Marian Year, Our Lady said in her
message,
"…I have urged all my children, who have listened to me and followed me, to
gather together in cenacles of prayer and penance, in order to obtain from Jesus
the great gift of his divine mercy.
"What comfort my sorrowful Heart has felt in seeing that these cenacles have
spread everywhere and that, during this Marian Year, they have multiplied in
number and in generosity. And it is through the great response of prayer and
penance, on the part of so many of my children, that I have been able to obtain
from Divine Justice the setting aside once again of a great chastisement which
ought to have struck all humanity." (386gh)
Again in 1997, she confirms that by means of the cenacles, with which we offer
her a great force of intercession and reparation, she has…
"intervened many times, in an extraordinary way, to shorten the painful time of
the great purifying trial." (594h)
On May 13, 1992, she says,
"Indeed, through my Marian Movement of Priests, I am calling all my children to
consecrate themselves to my Heart, and to spread everywhere cenacles of prayer:
among priests, the faithful, children, youth, and in families."
"In this way I am able to obtain a great force of intercession and reparation,
and I am able to intervene in order to change the hearts of my poor sinful
children; in this way I am bringing about each day the triumph of my Immaculate
Heart."
"The more this motherly triumph of mine comes about in the hearts and souls of
my children in ever increasing numbers, the more the chastisement is put off by
you, and the more Jesus can pour out upon the world the torrents of his divine
mercy." (473ijk)
"Multiply everywhere cenacles of prayer to compel the mercy of God to descend,
as a dew, on the immense desert of this world." (219h) |

The cenacles will be
our safe havens in the hour of the great trial. |

"Without an extraordinary intervention of my motherly love, you would not be
able to support the pain of the great trial which has now come for all.
(536k) "Because of the generous response which I am receiving everywhere from my
littlest children, I promise to intervene to save you in the hour of the great
trial. (529r)
"…Multiply everywhere the cenacles of prayer which I have asked of you, as safe
places, as refuges in which you take shelter in the tremendous storm which
awaits you…
"In the cenacles you will be preserved from evil and defended from the great
dangers which threaten you." (509g,j) |

In the cenacles, we
will come to understand "the whole and entire truth." |

To the bishops in particular, Our Lady addresses the following message, urging
them to enter into the cenacle so that they may attain an understanding of the
truth, whole and entire:
"It is the time of the cenacle for the Church, invited by me to enter into the
cenacle of my Immaculate Heart. In this new and spiritual cenacle, all the
bishops must now enter, so that they may obtain, through prayer made incessantly
with me and by means of me, a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit, who opens
minds and hearts to receive the gift of divine wisdom; thus, they attain an
understanding of the truth, whole and entire, and come to give their full
witness to my Son Jesus. (573e)
In the cenacles, all of us - bishops, priests, religious and laity - will obtain
the light of wisdom to understand the Gospel, and the Holy Spirit will enlighten
us to understand the signs of our times:
"You have now entered into the times of the second Pentecost. For this reason,
it is necessary that these cenacles be multiplied in every part of the world. I
ask that all the Church be gathered together in the spiritual cenacle of my
Immaculate Heart. Then the Holy Spirit will bring you to the understanding of
the whole and entire truth.
"He will bring you into the secret of the word of God and will give you the
light of wisdom to understand all the Gospel and whatever is described in it
concerning the times through which you are living. The Holy Spirit will make you
understand the signs of your time. They are the times foretold by Holy Scripture
as those of the great apostasy and of the coming of the Antichrist. They are
times of great tribulation and of innumerable sufferings for all, which will
bring you to live through these final events in preparation for the second
coming of Jesus in glory." (450cd)
In the cenacles, we will also be given the gift of contemplation and prayer to
penetrate into the mystery of the Gospel - to seek, welcome, love and live it!
"Let yours be an interior silence, which leads you to listen, with love and
faith, to the word of God alone. Penetrate into the deep mystery of truth and
beauty, which is revealed to you in the Gospel. Let the Gospel of Jesus be the
only word of life which you seek, welcome, love and live. Let yours be that
interior silence which leads you to contemplation and prayer. Let your prayer
become more intense. Let it be a true prayer of the heart, which you make with
me and by means of me.
"For this, let the cenacles of prayer which I have asked of you flourish
everywhere, like fragrant flowers which blossom in the desert of a great aridity
and general dissipation." (494de) |

The cenacles prepare
us to become "apostles of these last times." |
| |
Just as for the Apostles, the Cenacle of Jerusalem preceded the fullness of
their mission, so also will it be for us. In the cenacles, Our Lady prepares us
spiritually to be the "apostles of these last times," to go out and evangelize
and bring souls back to Jesus.
"As in the Cenacle of Jerusalem I opened the door so that the Apostles could go
out and preach the Gospel, initiating the first evangelization, so also, in this
cenacle of yours, I am calling you all to be apostles of this second
evangelization." (468c)
By our preparation in the cenacle, we will be given the spiritual gift of being
able to help those around us who will be in great need of our assistance during
the great tribulation. Our Lady prepares us for the time when we will have to
share in Jesus' role as divine physician, to minister to the needs of those who
will be in need of our guidance, love and support during the times of confusion
and apostasy.
"I have great designs on you. Respond, each and all, with generosity! In this
extraordinary cenacle, I have obtained for you from the Father, through Jesus,
the gift of the Holy Spirit. He will transform you into 'apostles of these last
times.'
"Give me your prayer, your suffering and your trust. Do not be afraid if my
Adversary attacks you with terrible snares, to lead you to discouragement.
"You are my very little children, my beloved sons, my apostles. Your light will
increase day by day, and you will be a source of guidance and safety at the time
of the great tribulation." (236fgh) |

Children's cenacles,
in particular, give great spiritual power to Our Lady. |

Our Lady especially needs the "crusade of innocent prayer of the little ones,"
which gives her an ever greater power of intercession and reparation.
"…The generous response on the part of little children gives such joy to my
Immaculate Heart and forms a great force of intercession and of reparation
before the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. I ask that children's cenacles be
multiplied, in every part of the world, because I am calling them to a crusade
of prayer and of consecration for the salvation of the world."

"Let children come together in cenacles, because their innocent prayer, united
to mine, has today a great power of intercession and reparation. From how many
evils you have already been spared, because of the prayer of these little
children of mine!" (496f) |

The cenacles are the
spiritual force which, in the end, will release in Our Lady the power given
her by Jesus to crush the head of Satan! |

Our Lady tells us that now, more than ever, we must fight with the spiritual
weapon of prayer because it is a battle which is being waged at the level of
spirits. The cenacle is the weapon with which we must fight and conquer in the
battle against Satan and all the spirits of evil who, in these times, have been
unleashed with great violence. (cf. 294b)
"Give your support to my invitation; multiply your cenacles of prayer and
fraternity; consecrate yourselves to my Immaculate Heart; frequently recite the
holy rosary! Then the powerful Red Dragon will be shackled by this chain, and
his margin of action will become ever more restricted. In the end he will be

In the cenacles, the
Holy Spirit will come down to lead us to the second Pentecost. |

Our Lady invites us all to enter into the cenacle of her Immaculate Heart in the
expectation of receiving in fullness the Spirit of Love. (cf. 226j)
The
Immaculate Heart of Mary is the golden doorway through which the divine Spirit
passes to reach us. (cf. 226k, 426l) It is the new and spiritual cenacle, into
which all the Church must enter in order to obtain the gift of the new
Pentecost. (cf. 428c) The Second Pentecost can come to pass only in the
spiritual cenacle of her Immaculate Heart (cf. 521d), and only in the cenacle
of her Immaculate Heart, when the whole Church will have entered in, will the
great prodigy of the second Pentecost take place. (cf. 355b)
This will be her
great gift!
"But above all, the gift of my Immaculate Heart will be the new Pentecost. Just
as in the Cenacle of Jerusalem the Apostles, reunited with me in prayer,
prepared for the moment of the first Pentecost, so also, in the cenacle of my
Immaculate Heart - and consequently in the cenacles where you are gathered in
prayer - you apostles of these last times can, with your heavenly Mother, obtain
a new effusion of the Holy Spirit." (284p)
These last and decisive times, she says, are "the time of the Holy Spirit," and
we need to multiply our cenacles so that the Holy Spirit can come down to give
us comfort in these difficult days:
"This decisive time of the purification and the great tribulation is the time of
the Holy Spirit. And so I renew again today my invitation to multiply the
cenacles of prayer, which I have asked for, with such motherly insistence."

"It is necessary, above all in these last times, that the Church and all
humanity be transformed into a continuous cenacle of prayer, made with me and
through me. Then the Holy Spirit will come down as a comfort upon the mourning
of your days, in which the great trial has already come." (496i)
Through her messages to Fr. Gobbi, Our Blessed Mother is trying to reach all of
God's children, urging them to multiply cenacles of prayer and to enter into the
spiritual cenacle of her Immaculate Heart. Only then can the second Pentecost
come to pass, when the divine Spirit of Love will pour down from heaven a river
of grace and of mercy. It will come like a dew upon the world and will transform
the desert into a garden. (cf. Mess. 428) It will be a divine fire of
purification and of sanctification that will heal the Church and renew the
entire face of the earth!
"And so, in cenacle with me, you are preparing the second Pentecost which is
about to come so that, through the irresistible power of the Spirit of Love, the
Church may be healed and the whole world renewed." (294p)
"The whole Church must now enter into the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart: all
the bishops, the priests, the religious and the faithful must enter. In the
Cenacle of Jerusalem, upon the Apostles gathered in prayer with me, there
descended the Holy Spirit, and there took place the miracle of the first
Pentecost. Thus, only in the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart, when the whole
Church will have entered in, will the great prodigy of the second Pentecost take
place. It will be a divine fire of purification and of sanctification which will
renew all the face of the earth." (355b)
"My Immaculate Heart must now become the new and spiritual cenacle, in which you
must all gather together, to obtain the gift of the second Pentecost. The
purification of the world will come about through the work of the Spirit of
Love, who will pour out from heaven his blazing fire to renew the face of the

In our cenacles, we give Our Lady the power to draw down the Spirit of the Lord
who alone can renew the Church and the world, bringing all humanity to the
perfect glorification of God. "And Jesus Christ will be loved, adored and
glorified by a completely renewed humanity."
"With my Marian Movement of Priests, I am today inviting all the children of the
Church to gather together in a continuous cenacle of prayer with me, your
heavenly Mother. I am inviting all the bishops, the priests, the religious and
the faithful."
"My Immaculate Heart is the place of this new, spiritual and universal cenacle.
You must enter into it through your act of consecration, which commits you to me
forever, so that I may unite my voice to yours in calling down upon the Church
and upon all humanity the gift of a second Pentecost."
"Only the Spirit of the Lord can bring back humanity to the perfect
glorification of God. Only the Spirit of the Lord can renew the Church with the
splendor of its unity and its sanctity. Only the Spirit of the Lord can overcome
the power and the victorious force of the huge Red Dragon, which, in this
century of yours, has broken loose everywhere, in a formidable way, to seduce

"My Immaculate Heart is glorified by you, when you multiply everywhere cenacles
of prayer made with me, which I have asked of you: among priests, faithful,
youth, children and in families."
"In this way you are preparing the time of the second Pentecost for the Church
and for all the world. With the second Pentecost, the Holy Spirit will render
his perfect witness to the Son and will bring upon the earth his glorious reign

Finally, Our Lady promised that, because of the cenacles which have spread in
every part of the world, we will see the wonder of the second Pentecost! Let us
then continue to multiply our cenacles so that we can hasten this great event

every part of the world the cenacles of prayer which I have asked of you many
times and with greater and greater insistence…" (428c)

THE MESSAGES IN THE BOOK OUTLINE
THE CENACLE FORMAT
In his interview, Fr. Gobbi tells us that the purpose of the cenacle "is to make
us grow in the life of consecration to her Immaculate Heart." The means which
Our Lady gives us to live this consecration is her book of messages, To the
Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons.
Many have asked over the years, "Where in the messages do we find the format for
the cenacles?" It is to be found in those passages which are repeated so
frequently by Our Blessed Mother, in which she pleads with us to gather with her
in prayer to receive strength and light to battle against Satan and all the
spirits of evil, to obtain the precious gift of peace of heart, and to be formed
into images of her Son Jesus. In the cenacles, we give great power to her
motherly work of intercession and reparation with which she can shorten the time
of the great trial. Above all, in cenacle with her, we "…are preparing the second Pentecost which is about to come so that, through the
irresistible power of the Spirit of Love, the Church may be healed and the whole
world renewed." (294p)

"Radio Cenacles"
I invite those who have the appropriate contacts in the radio communications
industry to concentrate their efforts in trying to obtain a time segment to air
an MMP cenacle, on a weekly or monthly basis. It would be a great charitable act
to make for those of our members who are confined to their homes or in
hospitals, affording them the opportunity to take part in a cenacle - to be
united in praying the rosary and in listening to the words of Our Blessed Mother
which act as a soothing balm for all of our wounds, whether physical, spiritual,
or psychological. Our Lady will most assuredly shower great blessings on those
who will collaborate in allowing her to offer this precious gift of the cenacle
to our brothers and sisters.
"Extraordinary graces will descend upon my children who will take part in the
cenacles, and all will have special signs of my love and of my motherly
presence." (562m)
MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CENACLES
Some of the following questions are answered in the booklet, Cenacles of the
Marian Movement of Priests - Purpose/Guide. Since many of you have had
particular concerns about some of these issues and wanted us to elaborate, we
offer the following more detailed responses:

Is it a requirement to say
three rosaries (15 decades) during the cenacle? |
| R. |
No, simply 5 decades are required. We must always be sensitive to the needs
of others in the cenacle. Not all are capable or have the stamina to pray the
15 mysteries all at once, especially the elderly, the sick and the very
young. In fact, in his interview Fr. Gobbi repeats the following twice: "[A
cenacle consists of] the invocation to the Holy Spirit, one part of the holy
rosary [5 decades], prayer for the Pope, meditation on a message, and the act
of consecration to the Immaculate Heart.
Some cenacles may last a good part of the day when they include Mass, adoration,
hymns, the Liturgy of the Hours, etc. In such instances, the recitation of the
entire rosary [15 decades] is highly recommended, at which time the praying of
the joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries may be interspersed throughout the
day. |

Is it permissible to read or make mention of other messages in the cenacles? |

No. Our Lady has a very specific mission for her cohort, and her messages to
Fr. Gobbi are meant to help us understand and fulfill it. They are also meant to
help us live the spirit of our consecration. Allowing other messages to be
discussed in the cenacle detracts from this purpose. It is not our intention to
pass judgment on the authenticity of other mystics; however, they have their own
separate purpose and these messages must never be included as part of the
cenacles of the Marian Movement of Priests. Otherwise, the mixture will bring
about confusion, dissension and the destruction of their respective missions.

Is the purpose of the cenacle to pray for priests? |

The primary purpose of our prayer in the cenacle is to pray for Our Lady's
intention which is salvation for all humanity. We place the power of our prayer
in her hands which gives her a great force of intercession and of reparation to
bring to fulfillment the plan which the Most Holy Trinity has entrusted to her
Immaculate Heart. (cf. 371f, 594h)
She tells us that she is truly present in our cenacles and joins in our prayers:

for the salvation of many of my poor straying children and in disposing the
painful events of your time according to the motherly plan of my Immaculate
Heart." (184c)

Of course, it is our 2nd commitment as members of the Marian Movement of Priests to pray for the Holy Father - one of the basic elements of the cenacle.
In his interview, Fr. Gobbi tells us that, in order to indicate our unity with him,
the beautiful habit has spread of praying also one Hail Mary for his intentions
after praying for the Holy Father. At this time, we can include a general intention
for all priests.

Is it O.K. to discuss the
messages if a priest is not present? |

In the absence of a priest or deacon who understands the spirituality of the
Marian Movement of Priests, it is not advisable that an interpretation of the
message be given.
In these instances, a period of silent meditation and reflection is highly
preferable.
Problems have occurred in many cenacles where a false interpretation of the
messages led to great confusion and useless disputations among the members.
This is not the purpose of the cenacle.
At times, the cenacle members may want to share a part of the message which
has touched or inspired them the most. Any discussion should always focus on
highlighting those parts of the messages in which Our Lady teaches us how we
are to live the spirit of our consecration. It is important to remember that the
cenacles are Our Lady's "schools" of spiritual transformation for her faithful
children. |

Why shouldn't our discussion
focus on the prophecies contained in the messages? |

The prophetical dimension of the messages is secondary. Without being
conscious of it, many of us may be focusing on the prophetical aspect of Our
Lady's messages while ignoring their spiritual nature. Discussions about the
prophecies do not help us grow in our spiritual life and preparedness. These are
given to show us the urgency of preparing ourselves well for the imminent
struggles and purification. |
Our Lady tells us not to look to the future - not to be concerned about what
will
happen:
"And so I say again: do not always be peering into the future to see what is
going to happen. Live only the present moment, with trust and complete
abandonment, in this Heart of mine."

"Multiply your cenacles of prayer and live in the greatest trust and filial
abandonment to me, without allowing yourselves to be seized by vain
curiosity to know what is awaiting you."

Our Lady told us that even though we would know all the details of the events to
come, we will not make it if we are not spiritually prepared.
